Spent the day digging myself deeper into the secrets of the S2-system which is used by livejournal and insanejournal - and yes, there are some easier ways to go insane.
But I have now a layout at my IJ that I’m pleased with for the moment.
Not quite my Turk-theme but kind of back to the roots - meaning Kabuki-inspired.
I’m using Kabuki or Kabuki-chan now for more then 8 years as nick (even some of my friends are calling me that. And I never lost my love for the comics.
And maybe it’s kind of a restart. Not quite turning back a wheel, but remember a few good things …

I was debating with myself if I should write about it or not. And where … but well, since my livejournal friendlist is going nuts about it, I can’t help myself and have to contribute my 2 cents of thoughts.
What pisses me off about the whole issue is not, what the company that bought lj is doing, but how.
First, despite all other peoples sayings - I was into the idea of having the opportunity to flag own content. Saved myself the nasty disclaimers.
But with the disappearance of interests, the now upcoming idea of closed communities (thanks to toshirodragon for posting it) and more or less not hidden cencorship I, as so many others, will be one who slowly migrate to Insane Journal.
I don’t think that I’ll abandon my lj-account completely. Mostly because I’ve met so many nice and lovely people there - and yes, there are some communities I love which have nothing to do with smut at all.
But I will stop posting certain images and fan fiction at LJ - you know the drill: just follow the link.

And now I have to figure out how to customize the IJ-look. Me wants my Turk-Theme ^^

I hate Gallery v1 and v2 - if my Japanese would be any better I would switch to Ninja Tools within a blink of an eye.

This outburst is due to the fact that I try to organize some stuff at my and Arki’s gallery … and we use different gallery tools (and please - any grammar nazi … I know that’s Arki and I) and I can’t upload png’s at her gallery *sigh*

But the lovely woman is modeling and texturing like hell and I can’t wait to get my hands at her new stuff. Just check it out.

On the affilliate front has another change happened. Since Violet Violence is more or less history, I kicked the link out.
But since yesterday I have a new affiliate: Shinra’s Bad Boys, a lj-community devoted to FF VII’s Turks and Soldiers.

If anybody else is interested in an affiliation, just drop me a line.

At the update front - the 7th page of my doujinshi is up.
Not much text at this one.

I finished a new section of this site - the place where I will update my doujinshi. Tried to keep a clean and simple layout that is not to different from my blog layout.
And I really had to do it, since gallery2 needs ages to load and I don’t think it provides a nice way of reading.
The whole thing can be found here and I’ll make a link button asap for it.

Just did my morning routine: Having my coffee, my cigarette and checking message boards and my lj-friends list. And stumbled over this: House vote on illegal images sweeps in Wi-Fi, Web sites.
I’m not into shota or loli at all, but still I think I better check back on some posts I’ve made. And I will for sure not upload all my final fantasy doushinji, since in some Cloud is drawn really young.
This really pisses me off. The idea is once more good, the way it’s put through … well, I feel like a criminal right now.

The days of anarchy in the ‘net are long over - I make myself no illusions about it. But with all the rules and laws it becomes harder and harder to exchange opinions or be part of a good discussion.
I have to thing twice about every post, have to recheck if I quoted the right sources, if I’m even allowed to quote said sources. Since I’m not a professional blogger it’s not so complicated. But I imagine everybody who tries to blog professionally must go insane by now.
