Hmmm

After the death of Heath Ledger (or however you spell him) I could check my f-list and only one or two posts mentioned his death.
But today every third post is about Gary Gygax ... and totally unrelated to his death - what does this say about my interests.

And by the way, Mr Gygax hopefully ends in a place where he has lots and lots of d20 to play with.
Without him one of my favorite hobbies would never become kind of popular.

Awww... I hope he ends up in a world with actual Dungeons & Dragons. And immortality cheats.

I didn't start playing until quite late. And then my DM screwed one of the other players wife. That went well...Not.

So had a break for a couple of years, unyil I met my bf. He DM's for us now. In both D&D and Exalted.

I know the movies with Heath Ledger. But it´s a pity that he died.

Mr Gygax... nothing about him in my head.
(the first)Pls forgive me.
But Gygax was 69, so it´s "ok".
Dungeons and Dragons... I know the name. The name and nothing more.
(second) forgive me

it's ok ^^
I'm the rpg-chick here :)

And I love some of the Movies Ledger is in - just watched the Bob Dylan-one, and he really was an awesome actor.
You know me - of course I'm a sucker for Brokeback Mountain

This news hit me surprisingly hard... so I am sorry if I am one of the people who spam your f-list with a last farewell... DAMN! The man made me proud to be a geek! I am really sad he is gone ;_;

me too - without him lots of stuff I love wouldn't exist. I'm just really awkward in stating last farewells.
And the news hit me twice as hard as the death of a certain hollywood actor.
